[Chapter 1 - Prelude]
[INTRO] 0:00
Ever since she was born, Aurora had always dreamt of going outside of the city walls. However, leaving Astralis' perimeter was strictly forbidden by law. The exception was for high class individuals such as leaders or celebrities, who would get personalized trips on the agreement that they never speak of what they saw. Aurora's parents would always warn her about how dangerous her dreams were, including leaving the city's perimeter. As she got older, she began to sneak behind her parent's backs to do explicitly what they had told her not to,
typical teenage behavior. She became rebellious and believed that someday, somehow, she would see the outside world...

(August 12, 3055, Aurora's 16th birthday)
As she awoke, she found herself alone. Typically, her parents are up starting their day. However, today, she knew they were requested on a trip for their jobs... A trip outside the perimeter. Though even knowing this, something still seemed off. Her parents' belongings were missing, and the home looked emptier than usual. Just then, there was a knock at the door. Aurora opened to see that it was the landlord. He was shocked to see her, and said they were supposed to be gone. It was then she realized; This wasn't a business trip. They left Astralis, and with it, Aurora.

(3058, Before she discovered the Cyber Core)
Ever since her parent's departure, she had been living alone in a small vacant shop in a low traffic alley. Though she has been on her own for three years, she still has yet to give up on her dreams of exploring the world outside her own. She had been saving up credits from supplying an underground technology market. She steals high end tech, and receives credits from sellers in return. It may not be the best way to earn a living, but for her it's the only way. It's what she's good at, and it brings in enough for her to live. Something she had always heard sellers request is the one and only Cyber Core. Since it was just a legend, (or so she had thought), she always turned down those offers, regardless of how large the bounty for them was. She knew that if it was real, she would be the one to find it and prevent misuse.
