But I know for me that it's my end, my life flashes before my eyes.

For the knock out round of NGUAC I decided to create something unlike anything I've made in the past. I create this theatrical sea shanty inspired song. It has fantasy and adventure themes as heard in the lyrics. The lyrics tell the classic tale of a hero on a quest to slay a dragon, and he is aided by a magical sword known as The Great Dragon's Bane, which the song is named after. I was originally going to call this track Hoist The Sails. But then I wrote some lyrics up and recorded the vocals for it myself. I recorded multiple vocal takes trying to get a somewhat decent result. I had to rewrite the lyrics to better match the flow of the instruments in the song.
