I labelled this as drum and bass because I'm not sure what I'd call the genre, but that was the main inspiration. It's definitely much more melodic than the typical DnB track. The drums are inspired by jungle, but they aren't sampled in the same way (it's actually one of the free Kontakt Player VST drum racks) so I'm not sure if it counts, plus the drums aren't playing for a sizable portion of the song. Oh well, let me know what genre you think this is; I'm relatively new to electronic music.
