This song was a weird one. I conceived it during a bus ride home, but at that early stage, it was just supposed to be some harsh industrial-influenced DnB, but soon I found myself wanting to add guitar. The opening went through several iterations, beginning as a purely acoustic compositon, and the actual melodic line changed with time. When I recorded the electric guitars and bass, I ended up creating something darker and heavier than initially planned, and I liked it, so I worked with this new direction. I finished it up with some sampled auxillary percussion and an electric overdub of the intro.
