Samples from the Eazy Beats Lo-Fi Hip Hop pack obtained from Loopmasters. All non-sampled work is my own.
Here, I experimented with using three distinct guitar parts. In the intro, you had the octave parts in the left and right channels with a central track mirroring the bass, and in the chorus, three melodies occurring at the same time. This wasn't the first time I used three guitars altogether, as I used a two-rhythm-one-solo setup for Energy, but it was the first time that each part was unique.
It's called Sucker Punch because it's hard hitting, and it also serves as a cheeky reference to a song I like. Originally, it was supposed to hit even harder and be a raw experience, such that its project name was simply "Primitive" until I changed my mind during the mixing process.
