About this Track

I made the rough draft for this song using my keyboard's MIDI recorder about two years ago. After creating Phloem, I decided to flesh out that demo and create an actual song out of it. So I created some sheet music on Finale PrintMusic... and did absolutely nothing with it for about a year. I finally committed to wrapping it up after making Mists. Anyway, here it is.

This uptempo track consists mostly of energetic synthesizers and fast-paced drums. The energetic song was designed to be perfect for anything high-speed. It also has a guitar solo for some reason—I can't actually play guitar, so I had a virtual instrument suite help me out. =P I took inspiration from some familiar names in the Newgrounds community, such as Dimrain47.

I'm happy with the way this song turned out, and I hope you are too! The one thing is that the .mp3 file wound up sounding horrific compared to the .wav I made. But I'd still like to hear any feedback, positive or negative, that you have to offer. I especially want to hear feedback on the mastering—I experimented quite a bit and had trouble finding the right compressor preset. Thanks for listening!
