About This Track
This song is the result of a fortuitous combination of two happenstances. Firstly, I was learning piano and, inspired by the likes of Ludovico Einaudi, interested in writing a song of my own. Secondly, I wanted to play an original piano track for a future talent share.
This track is a piano solo in two parts. The first part is an arpeggio-heavy segment with the melody in the left hand. The second half is played in the high registers of the piano. The entire song is evocative of a misty, rainy day in the mountains.
Please take note that this song is slightly "quieter" than you might expect. In order to avoid unnecessary distortion and accurately capture the song's dynamics, I avoided applying excessive gain to the track while mastering. You might want to turn up the volume slightly while listening. ;-)
This song is an experiment for me, so please let me know what you think! I want to produce more solo tracks like this in the future, so feel free to tell me about anything I could have done better or differently. Thank you!
About Me
My goal on this channel is to glorify God by making all kinds of music, from instrumental synthesizer-driven soundscapes to hymns of praise. Me and a few friends write, perform, mix, and master all of the music here.
Romans 3:23-24
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
