This remix sounds so uplifting in a way! Making it into an orchestral track was an interesting choice, and it fits your style well.
I’m rating everything 5 for now, until I do the judge reviews! ;)
Judge review:
Creativity: 34/40
The goal of “de-electronic-ifying” the track was definitely an interesting idea! The intro was a bit messy, but the rest of the song is very well executed. ESPECIALLY the drops. That’s where I really heard your style come out, and if you’ve read any of the other judge reviews you’ll know that I LOVE IT when a creator blends their style with the track. Drops are just very soothing, well done here! Structure is similar, but not too much. It all works for me!
Technical: 22/25
The mixing is great at the drops and buildups. I would have loved to hear more of the drums, however, but this is definitely one of e cleaner entries in this contest during the drops. The intro was a bit messy, as I said before. You used it a lot throughout the song as well, which would have been okay but it just doesn’t sound quite right. And it slightly overpowers the mix. But this is song is very beautiful!
Atmosphere: 10/10
The drops are so amazing. I can not say this enough. I thank you for making Extra Sprite sound this good. Your choice of using real instruments was a great one. The piano is also great. Your skills show through here.
Instrumentation: 9/10
Basically everything I could say here is already said above. The choices were superb, but the according/clarinet/violin was a bit too loud. The instrumentation is actually one of the main things that makes this track so good.
Overall: 13/15
I originally didn’t like this track, but then I put on my headphones and understood how good it truly is! This is a truly enthralling track that I would love to read a book or do homework or even just fall asleep to!
Total: 88/100
Congrats on 2nd place! This is a very neat entry, I really love what you’ve done with the song. Make sure to listen to everyone else’s tracks, they did great! Good luck on all of your future projects, and thanks for participating!
