I went back and forth on whether I should post a preview of this track or not - because in theory I'm pretty far along with it, but I always make progress in volatile bursts when it comes to this stuff - so I'm still not sure if it'll be done soon or not.
That being said, this track is a pretty big project even for me. I think it might end up being one of my longest tracks, because even this 2-minute long preview only goes to the beginning of the first drop. I think that length would be fitting for this track, and I really love the more unique structure I have going on here. I've done so much I'm so happy with here that I couldn't help but share some of it ahead of time as a sign to you guys I'm still working on things. I think this could be a new best track for me if things keep going so well.
As a last side-note, I just want to ask any of you reading - what sub-genre of dubstep would you describe this as? I'm struggling to describe it. I feel like it has an orchestral dubstep sort of vibe to it - but it doesn't use much in terms of actual orchestral instruments. Maybe cinematic is more the word I'm looking for? I just know calling this just "Melodic Dubstep" doesn't sit right with me.
