This song is called Changes. I wrote it on January 25 2023 and recorded it on February 2 2023.

I've had a sort of rough relationship with God. I'm slowly getting back.

This song was inspired by the chorus of Changes by Close to Home, so it takes on that sort of pop rock sound but doesn't have the intensity of the verses.

Well, I kinda forgot about His words

As I was pushed further into the world

And became what I hate

I remember the first day I met you

I cherished every day that you would

Swore to myself that we would get close

And I'm sorry, I failed

It's nice to think that I have a little bit of time

* The Church is sometimes described as being a bride, so this little line that I thought of actually ended up working.
