PSA: THERE'S A JAMUARY THREAD ON THE BBS! Not many folks are using it yet so I wanted to let y'all know that we're sharing our music on there!

Anyways, I've been super tired all day and felt it appropriate to make a lullaby song with the Animal Crossing music box, but after adding the piano section it feels more like a carousel ride. Either way, I'm really happy with this, especially for how simple it is and how much of a quickie it was. My brother thought I had plagiarized an actual Animal Crossing song, so hopefully that's a good sign (please please please don't tell me I actually did accidentally copy an AC song).

As I make more of these songs, I'm noticing my strong suit + default style is VGM. I think this is because I've grown up listening to and trying to recreate video game music on piano; it's just always been something I've been endeared to and fascinated by. As I make my own music in that "style," I find myself appreciating the songs I like from gaming more and more, from their overarching themes to their tiniest details. Really glad I decided on a whim to commit to the Jamuary challenge :)
