A Miss Weracidog track was long coming... but to be honest with you I think it's best you wait a bit longer, as this isn't the weracidog track some of you may be familiar with. It still has the intense trait, but it's less impulsive and more... smooth? Is that the right term? Fluent maybe?

The use of the stereo field is a bit safer than standard (for Weracidog). A considerable amount of the track uses the left and right space sparingly, and the drums' stereo separation and reverb has been taken down a few notches... but I still retained some, hopefully enough, to still claim it's a weracidog track.

Post production thoughts though, I think I held back a little bit too much on the toms, I should've gone full blast and made them the focus. There's a few rendering errors here and there too which I just noticed while writing, and I'm a bit too busy to go back and re-render things. I've also noticed how quiet it rendered, but again I can't do much without spending a substantial amount of time... more on why later.

Ultimately, I blame the theme of the album. See I would've gone crazy with the style, since I promised and all that, but it simply wouldn't fit the space-like theme or something.

This marks the first track I have made on a new phone. That's right, I finally upgraded!... and to be completely honest with you I kinda prefer the older device. Not only did the LG G6 have a good headphone jack, but it also ran android.. oreo I think?

Why is that important? Well the new device here, Samsung S22, runs the latest OS, and that version introduced a few security measures that basically prevents the user from accessing any app's stored data. That means I gotta use google drive to move songs from one place to another... which sure I can get used to.

What I can't get used to is the lack of a headphone jack. Sure I got some bluetooth headphones, but the only headsets I own that are bluetooth aren't great for audio production. Yeah sure there are dongles, but just plugging in headphones is a heck of a lot more convenient than carrying a big dingus that drains the battery and gives mixed results depending on what dac you have (Sound Blaster Play! 3 ain't great, very quiet volumes)

Also, I don't know what snapdragon did to the new chips, but FLSM3 runs like CRAP! I have to actually turn on safe audio output mode to stop it from crackling and sputtering. A 6 year old chip somehow beats this new-fangled 8th-gen-1-whatever-the-name-is. Honestly, I'm tempted to buy FLSM3 on my ipad. It's legit quite time consuming to render things, wait for the cloud to sync, before I can download it back to my phone so I can take a listen to see what I have to fix.

Well I guess the one upside of this upgrade is it runs at 120fps, which is buttery smooth and I love it.

p.s. I'm a bit busy so don't expect another song for quite some time. Though when I do, I'll be returning to deep house for the next track.
