A new trap/melodic dubstep (or maybe it’s future bass idk) track I made! I’m really bad at identifying genres of edm so I might be totally wrong but I don’t care lol, anyway it’s my first attempt at making something so heavy. The rest of the song is a bit less experimental for me but I’m still really proud of how it turned out, I hope you enjoy it :)
Pretty solid! could use some better sound selection, mainly with the drums, as well as some sidechain for the kick. piano sounds great but is a bit loud for the mix.
Edit: just saw you use garage band, you should probably invest in a better DAW as garage band is fairly limiting lol.
Yeah due to GarageBand the first two criticisms are a bit hard for me to get around, especially since GarageBand only has like 10 drum kits and no sidechain feature lol. Tbh GarageBand isn’t as painful to use as people say it is tho, and since I don’t make music too often, I’m proud of what I’ve been able to make using it and don’t really feel like paying for a better DAW that I prolly won’t use that much

Yeah this was just sitting in GarageBand for like 2 weeks before I finally got around to polishing and finishing it so that’s why it’s been a while haha
