Chaotic, over-the-top plucky guitars with tons of scratches/scrapes and lots of ear candy! This one is mainly Waterflame doing the drums and pftq playing the guitar as if it were a koto, although there are obvious moments where styles converge. In some ways a spiritual successor to the Koto Breaker song (or a warmup to Koto Breaker 2). Some inspiration from Osamuraisan for how much plucking and scraping his guitar has.
We couldn't agree on the ending, so Waterflame also has an alternate, more electronic/rock-ish version on Spotify/Bandcamp!

Creative rhythmic content and sound design on this one! The key changes help keep it interesting, along with the change-of-pace at 1:25 and distinctive use of panning on the drums. Otherwise, the piece could use a bit more fore-grounding of the melodic line - sometimes, I didn't know what exactly to focus on here. The increased energy and somewhat dissonant harmonies towards the end help make the piece feel conclusive, and overall I'm impressed with the detail-oriented composition and sound design here. Keep it up, guys! ^_^
It's Very nice
Very nice guitars. It's VST right? You did a good job on making the articulations sound very authentic. I also like the left and right response that each guitar does. I also like that the snare goes left and right too. Gives it width. I also like the build up and drop around 2:20. Very cool
Thanks! Yes, all VSTs - and yes very intentional stereo panning to make it sound full. We actually had specific left/right guitars assigned to me or Waterflame to try to accentuate the sense of call/response, but it got less respected as the song went on. XD (more specifically WF used them like they were different instruments and just had an orchestra of 4 of the same guitar playing the same notes lol)
