some intentional dissonance
Sounds a little like a club remix the way the instruments/beats shift around and sometimes stand out against each other. Some parts worked very well. Others sounded a little odd. The kick in the initial beat is pure gold. Makes for a good listen.

The instrument that came in around 1:17 was very nicely done. And, the instrument that came in around 2:00 in the background very lightly was good.
I know it was an experiment with loops, so I won't suggest that you make it less loopy..since it seems that was the point :)
