Game(s): Final Fantasy 4
Song(s): Overworld Theme, Within the Giant

*EDIT* Best of week! Yay! Thank you all!

Okay, this is new. A commentary section. I'll have to add commentary to all of my songs now. Yay!

This song come from a long-standing desire to mix one of my all-time favourite Final Fantasy songs: Within The Giant. Final Fantasy 4, on the whole, I have a soft spot for, because not only was it the first Final Fantasy I ever played, but it also has a lot of childhood memories attached to it... in more ways than one.

So when I finally found tracks that might work, I jumped at the chance to use them.

Please listen and review, I take great pleasure in reading them!

Very Good

Nicely done. Not a huge fan of Final Fantasy, but this really makes a good tuen of it.

go you!

final fantasy rocks man and u just made a fun little tune there mate well done

really well done

your effects are great I love it!

You did a FF2(4) tune.. for that alone you get yay

.. but then you get more YAY for doing a bloody good job of it.

FF2. Was. The. Best. Game. Ever.

lol @ People dissing the 1 minute intro. Man, play the game, it's sticking to the original tune and the "being inside the big robot this music" was EPIC. And this track does it justice.

You know what my fave tunes were in FF2(4)? The battle/boss battle/final boss battle tunes. Seriously. I'd make babies with anyone who did a good remix of those. Well, not really, but ya know, I'd be grateful.

bitium-ribbon responds:

Noted. lol

Take a look at Masters of Chaos, it includes the boss theme, and Ultimate Zero has the final boss theme. Meanwhile I'll look into the battle theme - it'd be a good one to mix with the FF9 battle music and I just recently got a request for that.

Stay tuned!

Good, but...

The intro took too long: a minute makes it difficult to sit through to get to the 'good' stuff.

The main aspect of the song is too soft and therefore hard to really notice.

I suggest you use a bolder main instrument next time.

bitium-ribbon responds:

Seems all right to me, and it's tested with a control group; they said it sounded all right.

Not to discount your recommendations, but it might be that you have your bass turned up too high.
