In 1994 I was a member of a computer scene group named "TRIAD" (of Berlin).
The head of the group had Chinese roots. We talked about music and my first contribution and he wanted something Chinese-sounding to be heard in the song, but it should also sound modern like techno music.
So I decided to start the song with the well-known Chinese music theme (or whatever Europeans think it is ;) ).
That certainly does not do justice to Chinese music culture but both the head and the rest of the group liked it. :)
As I mentioned, it was made 'some' years ago, but if I composed it today, it would be the same.
You know: It's all about the music - the language of the heart(s). Not about 'higher, faster, further' or the technical possibilities... (of course, it's meant in a friendly way) ;)
