Only thing i can think to help improve this song
somewhere in the song you should raise your voice. then with an acustic intro and go into destortion after the solo think thats where your voice should let it all out. its a damn good song as is however. especialy when it picks up.

This was the first song I ever did, and I really did it as a software experiment more than anything. It was done on a MacBook with the recording program "GarageBand", which utilizes multi-track recording. I used the little built-in mic on the MacBook. I've since gotten far more expensive and professional equipment, including an Mbox 2 Mini with Pro Tools LE, a condenser mic with pop-filter, new guitar, new computer, and lots of other goodies.

I really felt some emotion there in that guitar solo. You have an excellent voice to. I really enjoyed listening to this song. It's cool you even did everything in the song. A one man band :P

Thanks, this is definitely an emotional song. I wrote this for a friends of mine named Johnny. Johnny had a friend named Cali who I met only once, who a few weeks later killed himself. Cali had liked this song when I played it (at the time it was only the first verse) so I finished it for Johnny, who was grieving over Cali's death.

i liked it a lot... Although some of the mechanics might be a bit shaky, its a great song.. And it was also a good inspiration for the new song i myself am writing.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree about the shaky mechanics and whatnot.....the built-in MacBook mic just can't compare with a good condenser mic on a sturdy stand.
