Someone very close to me just had a setback. And the truth is, they simply didn't get done what they needed to. The world can be brutal like that...sometimes, it really is your fault, and in order to continue forward, you have to step up your game. This song sounds mean, but it's actually very hopeful! Setbacks aren't ending, unless you give up!

For the NGADM judges:

All live instruments and vocals, with the exception of programmed percussion. Minimal on the effects, very slight autotune on the vocals, did everything I could to make clean recordings so I didn't have to clean up background noises...this is pretty much what I'd sound like if I did the song live with a three piece band.
