First time I hear an oboe on Newgrounds. The track is just, wow!

Live oboe, cello, and organ are featured in this track; the rest is sampled. This was recorded at the end of my Spring semester for class (2021), and was originally intended for a project that is no longer moving forward. I still kind of have a soft spot for it - live players really do make all the difference even in simpler music like this. After weeks of writing up tracks with sampled instruments, it really brings you back down to earth to hear someone actually put their own musical talent into the shape of an instrument/voice. Magical stuff! The organ was recorded by a friend separately from the oboe/cello.

This sounds amazing like the rest of your work. I always appreciate live musicians. As a cellist myself I always get excited to hear cello in any piece of music.

That's awesome, I'm envious of the ability to play any string instrument haha. Truly appreciate the sentiment, and hopefully I'll have the budget for more live instruments in the future!
