I saw this beautiful artwork, titled "Adieu." by Kuoke and I decided to give another shot at altering the mood and perception of an image with music. Looking at the image, I first thought it was vast and stunningly pretty in its own right, maybe even a bit romantic; all of which are comforting and positive. Noting that, I tried to flip the script a bit so the mood is negative and full of grief; like the person in the picture is on a ship leaving the city in the background with one last look, full of sadness, regret, maybe a hint of anger and bittersweet emotion. It, incidentally, did matched the title, as it turned out.

I created this piece specifically for the NGUAC 2021. I thought I'd use this image as inspiration:
