Had to take the song off and fix some stuff, made the outro a little shorter, and added a 2nd mid hook to the song.

If you like the song, consider giving it a rating.. none of my songs have a rating for them, and I would really appreciate it.

if you don't like the song, please give me some criticism, it helps me understand where I'm making mistakes and it helps me grow as an artist, if no one does I'm gonna have to get Tom to take time out of his day to listen to it and judge it, so for Tom's sake, give me some darn criticism damn it

I like the pensive mood at the beginning and the ominous synth pattern at :11. The snare at :44 is a little loud compared to the synths, and the texture of the piece remains quite minimal throughout. You have a good sense of harmony and progression, but the composition felt a little underdeveloped here. Some stronger melodic content or some more dynamic harmonic elements would help this piece out a lot. That said, I admire your sense of atmosphere, and the production quality here is really strong. Keep at it, BigTWONeli! :)

This is the most in depth form of criticism I’ve ever gotten, and I love it! Thanks man I really appreciate the thoroughness

yo i love melodic 808 cowbells! lots of atmosphere and mood going on in this. surprised at how tight the lows ended up being for the most part. i can appreciate a minimal instrumentation but i wanted something in the background in the building sections just to help push the momentum of the track some more. i think the cowbell melody gets a bit messy when the beat kicks in at 0:44, sounds like two variations are accidentally playing at the same time. shakers seem a little loud and overall the mix isn't very wide so maybe pan some stuff around and smear the shakers with a short plate reverb. a creative idea and solid foundation for a beat!

the tempo of the main song should be a good start-up for begining but it goes through the entire song which kinda gets boring. The drop which made me confused either I should give the author 4 or a 3 star because its a outstanding hard rave. So it should suggest to study different types of flavors but at the same after taste. Keep it up ;)

BigTWONeli responds:

Appreciate the criticism man

first of all, no it's not techno
it's quite unique to hear a cowbell used as the main sound, but i suggest layering it with either synths or whatever you like
the hi-hats sound a bit loud, the beats are not bad tho
the track is overall lack effects (for the transition)

BigTWONeli responds:

I don’t know what type of genre it falls under, when I listen to music I don’t really dive into the genre of it so that’s kind of hard for me to pinpoint.

I’ll definitely take into account with the sound, I’ve been trying to work on that more often, same with the effects.

Thanks for the criticism man it really helps me out in the long run :)
