There were not enough tools and atmosphere. The song itself is not bad, it is very good. However, the second half of the song is a copy of the first. But I liked it. 9/10

I like the bright piano instrument at the beginning. The stop-start nature of the chords threw me off a bit, though. The strings at :21 sound pretty inauthentic, but I like the cute melodies at :41 and the upbeat mood. The progression could’ve been a bit more creative - the main source of variety in this piece seems to be the addition and subtraction of notes over time. Volume changes, automation, filtering, phrasing, and more elaborate transitions might have helped make the texture more varied and interesting, especially since the second half didn’t have much harmonic variety compared to the first half. You clearly have a good sense of melody and harmony, and also a good sense of how to structure a piece. I think getting some higher-quality samples and finding some more creative ways of adding variety and flair to your piece are important next steps for you. Keep at it, InsertNameHere0! :)

it's really cute! i think the fake general midi instrumentation actually helps the cute feeling a bit - even though the repeated piano notes sound really weird. it feels like there's a big gap in the instrumentation between where the drums sit and where the panflute sound is - i think just adding a single bass line and some soft, brushy percussion would fill that gap perfectly. the note the kick drum makes as it bottoms out of key with your song, i think it wants to be about 3 semitones lower to match your song, but you'll need to manually adjust the fine pitch to get it right. or just use a kick drum with a shorter decay. song ends up feeling way too long and empty even at 3 minutes. love the sweet little melody though.
