This is the instrumental version of HL song without voice lines or other sound samples from Half-Life. The style of this song gets some inspiration from Half-Life 1 and 2 game soundtracks and the bassline at the very end is also a direct reference to one song from Half-Life 2.

For some reason I didn't have the same level of enthusiasm when creating this song as I have usually had but still I think this song turned out great, better than some of my other recent songs. I even found the strength to do the mastering very well. As an interesting detail, this song uses the super locrian scale which is more rarely used in songs compared to the few very common scales.
