This is a one shot live take I did few weeks back. Played my pulsar drum with one hand while playing chords on the synth with my other. Had one synth midi-ed to another to trigger harmonies, while the drone commander, once set, played it's self, keeping the time and giving an anchor tone. Was a pain but I managed it without royally screwing up somehow.

If anyone's interested, this could use a rhythm track, production and other fun things. Be warned, it might not be easy. I don't recommend adding melodic content to this, because I don't use standard tuning and it will be a pain in the ass unless you are as nerdy about tuning science as i am. The time signature is defined by my analog drone commander. Granted it's oscillators are pretty damn stable but it may take a bit of fiddling to find the exact BPM. If one was adding rhythmic content to this, it would be advisable to do it in sections. One section for each time I switch the mode on the drone commander, so your bpm doesn't drift. I switched it a total of 5 times for the entire track, making for 5 sections total.

I was going to add my own live percussion track and other stuff but that doesn't look like it will be happening for a long time. PM me if you are interested. Otherwise just enjoy it as a rough ambient piece I guess. I'll finish it eventually.

clipping bass hits detract from a sterling piece of ambient work.

I'd maybe even remove them.

I can add some nice guitar drones and licks, just give me the chords.

everything except the bass hits is balanced, incredibly indie. i love it. it's roughly 140 based on arp. decent progression.

I am editing this review now i am on monitors.

There's literally no issue at all. So I apologise, my standard speakers have an issue with them, likely blown the bass.

listening now on monitors it's brilliant, maybe those bass pipes are still too forward but that is preference. Send me a mix without them.

Was wondering if you'd notice this post. The bass wasn't clipping, just mixed high, so I tamed it a bit and updated the file on this post. If you want to do something with this, by all means, go for it. Post what you end up doing so I can listen. : )
