[EDIT] Holy fahk I've never seen a track be featured not on their published date o.o
Thanks so much! This a badass decade gift hue c;
Going back to my RoVeR roots and bringing back some drum & bass for you all; made in collaboration alongside a good friend of mine, WhiteFire! I'm sure you guys know what funny number day just happened recently ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°); we were chilling in the studio face rolling tracks when we fancied around a drum & bass beat to work on.
The first part features hip-hop/breakbeat drum combos with funky woodwind samples that are chopped, screwed, and then melodically rearranged. The second part is your more run-of-the-mill drum & bass that moves onto a neato downtempo(?) ending. This track is a little slower than usual drum & bass at around 160bpm, but it does sound pretty fast, no? And of course, I have to bring in my distorted sub-bass fills c;
[Note]
This actually isn't the original one here on Newgrounds; I guess you could say this is the "exclusive" edit with the copyrighted stuff out. The original has a 21 movie clip that plays in the first riser where they say "what's your name... I'm gonna change your luck" and "winner winner chicken dinner". It's copyrighted stuff – ya can't put that stuff here on NG (;
This also makes it possible to use in GD!

makes me think of being in a city.
eargasmic
i love neuro :))))))))))
Really hard to listen to, but that's of course not a criticism.
Very creative. The production sounds a bit bad at times. Might be on purpose but I don't really like that. Like the clipping bass at some parts.
Yea the style can be hard to digest at points, you should listen to the UK Neuro scene where the inspiration is from like Copycatt and Frequent. Most of the tracks there can be jarring at times 😵
It's like the opposite of kid's future bass sound where the bass and chords have to flow really smoothly from section to section and even throughout the measure itself, whereas here it's made with very minimal effects and quick sudden chops. Personally, I hate electronic reverb lmfao, I use it for sound design purposes to make cool melodical chops but in most cases I would always kill all the tails right before every downbeat >:)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
