A Drop of Water

I was out today, and happened to take some time at a quiet spot on the waterfront to record some waves. Playing around with the files later, I realized it was exactly two years ago that @ForgottenDawn asked me to record a zen kaon:

A Zen master named Gisan asked a young student to bring him a pail of water to cool his bath.

The student brought the water and, after cooling the bath, threw on to the ground the little that was left over.

"You dunce!" the master scolded him. "Why didn't you give the rest of the water to the plants? What right have you to waste even a drop of water in this temple?"

The young student attained Zen in that instant. He changed his name to Tekisui, which means a drop of water.

I decided to add it in with some other bits to make this. Let's call it a B Side...

Let me know what you think.

Very relaxing and quiet, I really like its atmosphere ♪ \(^ω^\ )

This is positively tranquil. That water feels like it's rushing, and given that it was an actual recording mixed well -- I feel like I'm transported there, to the bank of that river.

I thought the title sounded familiar... :') It's a nice and contemplative sound collage. It definitely fits the spirit of "tekisui".

I love it! The clarity is just fine, if you were concerned about the headset.
