Inspired by this amazing abstract art piece, which is featured in the thumbnail.

Quite a departure from my previous songs, but hey, experimenting is good. This was made as a project for college in which consisted in creating a song inspired in the "abstract expressionism" art movement, basically making a Pollock-style piece in audio form. For this we needed to revolve the song around a specific art piece, which is why I decided to use the entry mentioned earlier as inspiration. You might want to lower the volume, you know how that kind of art is... (I'm sure this doesn't go against the terms of use since it isn't an earrape shitpost)

Amazingly, this was mostly done with Synth1. It may be free but still manages to be an absolute beast! The whole mix feels muddy, which was intentional in order to make the song more daunting. I wanted to express all the troubles going on inside the mind when we act under stress or without thinking, something which we can't quite explain yet.

Later on in the same class I made a minimalist track inspired by John Cage and Steve Reich, although I chose not to upload here as it is barely a song in traditional terms, which is what the minimalist genre strives for. In other words, it simply doesn't belong in the portal.
