The initial melody loop is decent enough however the additional instrument tracks make it seem as if the song is progressing sideways rather than forwards. It's not a bad song by any means but it lacks anything that would make me want to come back to it. I'd say add a slightly more prevalent percussion, and perhaps a melody with a clearer direction.
tl;dr promising, but in need of a little more substance.
