So this is that piece I was getting all jazzed about on my profile page. To save you a click, I'll explain why here.

This track began as an experiment in "just go with it" mentality. I chose only loops that were tagged as "arrhythmic" and attempted to create a nice swingin' rhythm. In the end, I believe I accomplished that task but something more beautiful came to fruition in my mind.

Now, if you don't agree with this that's totally cool. Please simply enjoy the music as is and hey- thanks for listening! But if you're an animator, please at least hear me out and see if you have a similar vision.

When this song plays, I see an animation in my head. Something with the art style of old cartoons. The game Cuphead embodies the art style I'm thinking of perfectly. Something about an every day worker being told what to do, then the robots become too powerful and the worker has to do something in order to escape. I want to be as open for creative interpretation as possible, here. But there is one scene I can absolutely see already: at the very end, a detached and crumpled robot head lying in the mud. There's a dim flicker of it's red eyes as it says "become as gods" and then the screen does that cartoon-style-shrinking-circle-outro.

Well, anyways. That's what my vision for this is like. If you'd like to message me about the project, let me know. Otherwise I'll just be waiting for the right animator to come along. I think this could be a really cool piece.
