I released this song on YouTube. I thought I'd share it with you guys on NG.
Before the pandemic, I would wander downtown Chicago listening to heavy shoegazing music. I tried to mimic the vibe I got from the music I listened to in that city in this song. I imagined a montage of the Loop district during a bright sunny day, where the camera watched the CTA trains go by and observed the busy streets and storefronts. The beginning welcome message was put there because I imagined a group of people who wandered into Chicago and met someone who knew the city well, who offered to show them the ropes.
Yeah, I know it's esoteric, but that's just how I hear it, heh.
