Sounds like an opening to a TV show where the cast goes on an adventure, kind of like Pokémon but not. Amazing.

17/2: added some brass and percussion to meet contest standards
18/2: mixing adjustments
im pretty sure i've *heard this in an ad for some forward thinking, holistic, synergistic corporation that moves the needle and puts an emphasis on the customer's journey
(forgive me if i've committed some sort of blasphemy in terms of the mixing; i've never made anything like this in this lifetime)
all sample libraries are from Versilian Studios' Chamber Orchestra 2 Community Edition, VSCO 1 Percussion and some other free samples i got off the web [updated]:

Really slick. And the mix sounds pretty solid all things considered... nothing sounds off in my opinion.
This isn't just a song, it's a legit question. I feel like I have heard this somewhere before.
probably from the thousands of ads that feature orchestral music lol
Just a heads up, from what I've heard from the judges you need at least 3 instruments from one of the four "types" of orchestral instruments. Either strings, brass, winds (like woodpipes flutes) and/or percussion (from timpani to piano, xylophone, harp and etc...).
Cello, vionlis and double bass are all from the same class: strings
If you want, just add something like a tuba or trombone doing the same as cello or the double bass, add some percussion to it and I think it should be fine?
Either way just talk to one of the judges, I'm just a bystander
god dammit, you're right
i'll get right on it
[track is now fix'd]
