4.5/5, really makes you feel like a middle aged man walking to his desk and stubbing his toe on the corner of his crap ikea furniture
Picture this, you're walking to your computer when you stub your toe. It takes around 10 seconds for the pain to rise. That is the inspiration for this piece. Yep, that's It. I purposely made the beginning of the song gentle and quiet so resemble to calm before the storm (like the calm before the storm with my toe). Then after the calm is done the storm comes. That storm is the part where the orchestral backing comes in (the pain in my toe sharpening). so.. uh yeah. Hope you enjoy this.
Wish me luck for my toe.

Yes, Ikea is out to get us. Ikea revolution.
Kind of a weird title to describe a stub of a toe but it sounds super dramatic so I’m down. I didn’t even notice the subtle guitar at 1:04 but I am absolutely loving it, represents progression in the pain, or in other words, more of the good withering away leaving only the bad behind. There’s a famous song that goes “only the good die young” and they’re completely right in saying that it seems. That’s what I think of when I hear this song. Depressing yet realistic, uplifting yet full of despair. A near masterpiece in my opinion. Especially since the outro actually works quite well.
"Masterpiece" is a powerful word. Yeah.. my toe really hurt. I think this song sums up my pain and how I regretted existence at that moment, haha.
Dynamic increase for throbbing, increasing pain...where?? Oh well. Nice tune. Erm, I think the kick drum is too muffled too. Otherwise, Neat-o.
If you read the description I say that the true pain only comes after the first few seconds. I never stated that the pain got worse as time went on. Also, the drums would be too distracting if they stood out more. When drums are too loud they become distracting. The reason why they are muffled is that there are a lot of instruments being used. Otherwise thanks for the comment :)
