i grew up drawing sonic a lot as a kid since i was obsessed with the archie comics of him, so after several months go past i (if i remember to) try to draw sonic from memory and without using any reference. not too proud of this attempt because it really doesnt strike me as sonic if you get what i mean, but i do like the pose so i may redo this one allowing myself some references. had fun nonetheless, dont particularly like it but i dont particularly dislike it.

which reminds me, a year or so ago (somewhere in the beginning of 2021 maybe?) i made a drawing of my friend milo's demented sonic oc he made with viewer input on his stream. i quite liked how that one turned out- probably because i used references- so ill see if i can find the file somewhere to post it. i doubt many people will get the joke since its from a stream so old that the vod was never saved, but i want to be able to have it up somewhere lol. drawing it took me back to my roots, you could say (said roots being 10 years old copying frames from the sonic comics onto printer paper).
