And here it is, the last of my designs for the 2024 Creature Collab.

CUNICULUNA (the evolved form of Astralope by @Thetageist and the final form of Stardust Bunny by @Nebulate)

Astralope who fully master their psychic abilities begin to draw light reflected from the Moon and absorb it into their bodies. This triggers a profound transformation of both body and mind. Their horns grow into a magnificent crescent shape, while their ears fuse and form something resembling a cape trailing behind the body. Most importantly, all three of their eyes permanently close, for they are no longer needed: upon evolution they gain a mind’s eye which can see far beyond the range of mortal vision – literally and figuratively. The light harnessed from the Moon courses through their ears, creating a lightshow of falling stars and whimsical scenes of interacting constellations.

Definitely the most difficult of the five designs I made. I went through two failed attempts before finally arriving to a concept that I thought did the original designs justice. I will say that I think this looked much better before I colored it, but as far as the creature itself is concerned I'm pleased with the end result.
