So, alongside having gotten back to Fallout NV and 4, and having spotted I've got a 111 followers on my NSFW Twitter, decided it was as good as time as any to make a commemorative image for the occasion. Usually tend to go for more energy weapons build, but a friend suggested Viola would fit more as a grenade launcher user. |'P

In any case, this is as good as time as any to have a ramble about the games (well, more about 4), since I have a feeling I won't be doing a video or something about the game.

Even if 4 has some weak moments of writing, I still do enjoy the exploration aspect of the game. Just looking on about, getting to a place, and going through to see what sort of things are holed up in a spot with a bit of area lore around it is weirdly enjoyable. Even if the place won't have enough adhesive to get modifying your weapons well enough, it's still weirdly fun.

It's just a bit of a shame in technicalities the game is still a massive mess.

Like equipment modding and creating is so much better in 4, but feels undercooked at parts when going to settlement building. Creating objects is well enough, but without modding the game itself it can be a struggle to place things, and it feels you can't clean up the place to something you'd imagine people could live in (I'd at least try and get all the trash lying around, you know?), let along that you can't leave people there to self govern from what I have experienced the game.

Still, there are mods you can work around these things well enough, but even with all of those it doesn't change the fact the engine feels like it's being held together with spit and drunken wishing. Had doors leading outside of a building disappear even if still usable, vertibird I am supposed to take somewhere fly off the map, one of my guns models just disappeared on me, objects disappearing in general, alongside the probelms the game has in itself.

Still, I do enjoy weirdly enjoy the game. The loop in itself is somewhat fun for me, even if it is mixed in a complete mess of things. Things most likely won't get fixed for a long while, even if when eventually Fallout 5 gets put out in the year 2078.

Oh yeah, as for 76: is now playable, still has same bits of good things as with 4 and some added things, to me not worth it on the forced survival mode and online play.
