Yeti

Hey! been a while since I posted so uhhhh yeah-- Been working on some projects I can't show yet, but I am really excited to! For the meantime here's a Yeti!

Wanted to do a different process and style on this one- having line art for the drawing from which I usually go lineless. Also used a textured custom brush I made when I did some poorly drawn OCs and doodled around, and I fell in love with using, gonna be using it more for smaller drawings hehe :)

For this one, it took a lot of inspiration from a trip a couple days before I started working on this one. Was on a mountain area, it was all misty and foggy, really early in the morning and visibility was so low, just barely seeing the trees' and mountains' silhouette in the bright gray sea of fog. It looked so cool! So then, I wanted to capture what a Yeti encounter would probably look like- low visibility, heavy snowstorm, you could barely see its features, only seeing its huge silhouette dimly illuminated and shaped by the moonlight, and its red glowing eyes as it lets out a horrifying scream.

Initially the eyes weren't gonna be glowing, rather very dim, just two small white dots as reflections. Then decided I wanted to have it lit up, was gonna be either white, yellow, or a blue color. But then a buncha Death fanarts from Puss in Boots started popping up, and ended up with the red eyes since they look more intimidating! Speaking of Puss in Boots, just saw that masterpiece of a film, so expect some drawing for that sometime soonish ;) dunno when that's really coming out... anyways this is getting too long, really love how this one turned out and hope ya'll do as well :>
