For those who haven't heard or known yet, one of Terraria's developers, Leinfors, has sadly passed away.

It was such a sudden and tragic news to wake up to. While I haven't conversed with him, or interacted that much with the community itself, he was a prominent and recognizable figure and a name I would see and hear going around social media. This is thanks to his really active and ground level interaction with the Terraria community. He's also got a really sick looking developer set in the game which was initially how I learned about him, and his set is definitely my personal favorite.

He's done so much for the game. Seriously contributed things that completely changed the game, and made it so much better coming up with the Pylons and the Bestiary... potentially more that I do not know of. Really passionate with his job as part of the Quality Assurance team making sure everything in the game is balanced... his work is nothing short of easy and little to make the game fun to play. Not only that, but as previously stated, he was also very interactive with the community, especially on Discord. Always there to help out players with different problems, responding to their suggestions and feedback, or just there to chat with them. He was a voice to the community.

It's such a tragic loss, and he will be missed dearly by many in the community.

Ending this with his last tweet, and I think it's a very important message to live by too:

" Hey everyone, just a reminder to be nice to each other :) " - Leinfors
