I also have this version. Some people may prefer it. What do you think is best? The simple or more complex version?iu_597600_7731228.png

I try to enjoy art and animation in 70/30 proportion :)) and games too. Love this site and community of creators ^=^

Twoeliz responds:

If I had a good way to play games here I would probably play a few games once in a while. There are always hidden gems!

I prefer the second one.
The first one has too much detail everywhere and is rather overwhelming, not to mention a bit difficult to look at.
The second one has just the right amount of simplicity/detail balance.
Hope this helps.

Twoeliz responds:

It helps; recently I have noticed that people seem to prefer my simple work. I enjoy drawing complex things and wonder if it's possible to draw in a detailed manner without it being too much. Perhaps for now I can post 2 versions most of the time for others to enjoy!

I feel like it's really difficult to compare the two of these even if they're technically the same picture. The detail in the first is insane, but there's also something nice about the simple shading in the second; there's still a lot going on, but it doesn't feel as visually overwhelming. Very cool piece either way though!

Twoeliz responds:

Thanks, I wish that overwhelming wasn't a bad thing. I was trying to capture some messiness of living spaces. Sometimes it feels that it doesn't look messy enough when shaded simply but it looks nice. Sometimes is difficult to choose what style I want to go with haha!
