Amber the salamander was created by me in a biology notebook while I was doodling during class in sophomore year of high school. She originally could use her suit to morph into other shapes, but as time went on--and as her hair began to look cooler I might add--she eventually became, story-wise, a resident of Mikrabiami, the tropical region of the element of Water.

I have not yet devised a lore reason for her unreal cowlicks to stay in shape while she's swimming underwater.
