Wang Ji is someone who has probably never been mentioned in 3K lore, mostly because he was before all that, but he's significant to Cao Cao's story as he's the adopted son of the powerful eunuch, Wang Fu, the Cao family's greatest political rival. He's appointed Chancellor of Pei which is bad news for any Cao and has ill intentions on everyone Cao Cao calls a friend or a loved one.

By all accounts, history-wise, Wang Ji was a thoroughly nasty piece of work so I hope to capture that fully. I went all-out in making him look as monstrous in form as he is in deed.

It has also been mentioned to me that, historically, Cao Cao was rather short, even for the time, and his enemies remarked upon it. But honestly, this just makes it easier for me to make him a hero. He's the little guy, the underdog, lacking in size what he makes up for in character. When his charisma fails he turns to his cunning, when that fails he draws his sword and is damn good with it.
