The True BFFs of the Three Kingdoms, a Sworn Sisterhood!
Cai Wenji, the shy, sophisticated Librarian
Bian Yuexiang, the bubbly, streetwise Tavern-Girl
Diaochan, the jovial, perceptive Palace-Maid
All of them are very close to Cao Cao, serving as his confidantes and all enjoy teasing him on occasion.
And yeah, the photo-booth slide is just meant for humour. I particularly enjoyed drawing Cai Wenji's 'Please Don't Show This To Anyone' expression in the final slide.
Yes, my take on Diaochan is a lesbian. She and Bian Yuexiang have an open relationship.
