This is Lenai, a companion of Sarra & Mel.

They found her while heading to Centeroot, through The Trikk Forest.

Lenai has spent most of her life wandering through the forest, not really making any major connections to anyone she's met, but she's taken a liking to Sarra & Mel and is glad to have stumbled into them.

Lenai is (or most so was) apart of the Truta Clan, a large settlement in Centeroot and watchers of the Life Crystal.

The clan has a heavy belief in the continuance of life in all creatures, and have a tradition that says by a female's 19th birthday should be wed to a suitable mate, in-clan or out.

Lenai never had any interests in anyone in her clan or passers-through, and by her 18th, became fearful for what this would mean to her clan.

A few months before her 19th, Lenai ran away from Centreroot and spent the rest of her life in the surrounding woods, helping creatures small and large to pass the time.

She would meet many travelers venturing to Centeroot over the years, some with worse intentions than others.

One of these was a militia, heading out of Centeroot with wooden supplies and all sorts.

After encountering Lenai, the militia asked if they could set up a small camp for a night in the woods. Lenai agreed.

Here she would learn how to learn a crossbow, quickly taking a liking to it and becoming very skilled with it.

The militia asked if Lenai if she would like to join them and head to Fort Plentai, a military-mained village.

Lenai declined, and soon crafted her own crossbow to defend both herself and any travelers with bad intentions heading to Centeroot, despite her fear of her previously-affiliated clan.

Sarra & Mel are heading to Centeroot, so maybe it's time she faced her fears...

Lenai's main elements are Life & Electricity, signifying her connection to all living creatures and spontaneous nature.
