STORY BEHIND THE ART: My friend Deege and I are in a StarCraft II guild called "XX2". The guild was founded in 1998 for the original StarCraft. Seeing as how we are both imaginative teenagers at that time, we both had dreams and grandiose ideas of how we'd run the guild. I once came up with the idea of a StarCraft War Room where guild officers could play on giant screens and have an audience watching them. Well, 12 years later, I decided to design my ideas into 3-D and, to my surprise, my dreams paled in comparison to the actual product. However, the room looked too plain to me without some people in it, so I decided to draw myself in Adobe Photoshop and put my character in war room. This is that end result.

INSPIRATION: This is my first attempt at making something other than a simple 3-D environment. In the art forums, I showed some 3-D backgrounds that weren't quite finished, but showed some potential for set building for Flash movies. I then decided to experiment with character creation and came up with a new art style. If I can learn how to animate properly, this is the style I intend to use.
