This one might take some explanation: The breif for the assignment was a battle robot that is made from REAL objects. So what I decided to do was do sketches without specifically drawing parts from actual objects- that's the Thumbnail. Then, I blew up the thumbnail, and took photos of real things and put them over the sketch, then used the "Find Edges" filter to turn it into linework. Cheating? Not at all. It ensures that what I'm drawing LOOKS like real objects. I could easily have just drawn each of the photos and gotten the same effect without 'cheating', but this was faster. Any artist who has worked in a deadline will tell you the value of production techniques; also known as Rapid visualization. The ability to quickly display complete and accurate concepts for preproduction. Hope you guys like it!

I don't see which leg you're talking about, his 'front right' leg is just as long as the one on the left...
