I think it was at about this time that I bitterly resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have to do Valve fan-art for most of my class projects or else take up half the time I had to finish them thinking about what I wanted to do. I forget what the exact purpose of this assignment was, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with layers. Whatever it was, I think it turned out pretty nifty.

Also, looking at it now, I think I should probably make a green version to appease the raging Adrian Shephard fan in me.
