Here's another woodcut style attempt. This one was an original design, so I didn't have much to go on aside from some very basic references for the non-human bits. This is a demon that I came up with in high school that I've since expanded on. Like many other demons, he is chock full of symbolism that point to the concept(s) he represents. In his right hand he carries a tithe in the form of wheat, in the left hand he carries an executioner's sword. He has the head of a crocodile, the body of a man, and the legs of a jackal.

I think I did better on the first one but I just love doing these so much that I had to make another. This one I think has quite a few more errors than the first and I did attempt to use witeout on him so the physical copy of this one looks a little off because the white isn't the same white as the page and the page itself is kind of raised a little bit now. Anyways, this one like the last has some errors with the ways the lines flow (low line confidence can be traced back to all my previous work), and I think I could have done better with the human bits if I had gotten myself a reference to work with. The sword's perspective makes the pose seem a bit strange I think but I wanted to make it clear that it was a blunt pointed executioner sword he was holding.
