It saddens me to find out that Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama has passed away. While I’m not too crazy about some of his work in the more recent Dragon Ball media, I still respect him for the original Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z series, both which I still love. Anime will not be the same without him. R.I.P. Akira Toriyama (1955-2024).

The kanji symbol at the top of the drawing is Goku’s symbol meaning “Son” the symbol he first started wearing in the Frieza Saga.

I haven’t been drawing as much lately due to feeling sick with sinuses and allergies, and lack of motivation and inspiration, but I felt like I needed to pay tribute to him somehow. As he had a big impact on my life and was one of my biggest influences on my love for anime and drawing. Along with many other artists. (Living or Dead).
