I love the design of ssj 4, but I can admit it is flawed like how it’s a bit too cluttered of a design and how the colors clash against each other a bit, and some things about don’t make much sense to me. Like how he doesn’t have the golden hair of the previous forms, and his hair gets shorter. So I took the things I wanted in the design and put them in this. I have to say that this was inspired by a ssj 4 redesign by Ash on twitter (go check his art btw) but what I did was took away the fur, combined ssj 3 and 4’s hair, made the color palette more simple, I kept the tail because it makes sense why he would have it to me, and added all the clouds on him to kinda reference goku’s nimbus cloud. I made his pants red to keep one thing I liked about the original design which was the red hair all over his body.
