Do you ever have that moment where taking a photograph of something isn't enough? So you draw it to properly adore the view? Is that just me- it's just me ok- cool- glad we can make that conclusion. I know this is out of nowhere, but I've kinda been trying to go for more background focused artwork recently. And tonight was no exception, I basically just wanted to bring my cat inside for a but, until I saw the almost classic Disney animation era background that was from my bedroom window. So, I got my tablet out, sat by the window, and drew it. I wish my phone could take better quality images so that I could reference it. This was half drawn from sight referencing and also half from memory, cuz once I was onto the trees. The clouds had moved along as the night became more clear. It felt a bit weird drawing in this kind of way, but I really liked it. Felt relaxing.
